I mean no disrespect to any branch of the military by posting these acronyms I got from Readers'Digest magazine:

The military loves its acronyms. Here are some that have flown under the official radar:
ARMY: Aren't Ready to be Marines Yet
LOST: Looking Over Strange Terrain
MARINES: Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Essential
MRE: Meals Rejected by the Enemy
NAVY: Never Again Volunteer Yourself
